Media influenced election

We all know that the media plays a big roll in who the people vote for, that’s why you see candidates spending millions of dollars on TV adds. And this one is no different, in fact I think the media is playing a bigger roll than ever. I couldn’t help but notice that the media is focusing their attention on Obama and McCain allot more than the other candidates. I can understand their focus on McCain, he is a Republican and after all the media is run by big business and corporations that tend to be republican .I mean all you hear on the news is; Obama this, Obama that ,Obama won this caucus, Obama is expected to win that state, and you never hear about Hillary and when they do say something about her it is usually something negative like :Bill Clinton is too involved with the campaign, even when she actually wins a state like Florida they never mention it, I get that it doesn’t count however, she did beat Obama by 17% and I think it is worth mentioning to the American people. It amazes me how CNN (the best political team!) repeatedly keeps saying that Obama and Clinton are tied head to head going into tomorrow’s election even though Clinton is ahead 74 delegates. The only explanation I could come up with for all this is that the media (republicans) know that they could beat Obama much easier than Hilary, in the fall when elections start. They would beat him by focusing on two simple facts. First is that he is no where near the qualifications or the experience that McCain has. And second and most importantly is that he was raised in a Muslim family and so they would start using scare tactics by telling people that he is Muslim and is sympathetic towards terrorist and they might even go further and say that he is Muslim with terrorist connections. That’s why I think we should vote for Hillary whom is the stronger and much more qualified candidate, the one that would start working for us form day one.

This blog does really make a valid pont, it is so true. Media is not focusing on all of the presidential candiates as a whole. Their on focused on a couple, and those shown everyday all day on televison are going to be the ones the voters on going to think about when it is time to vote. We as the voters do not get a chanceto see everyone equally, so we will think that they just do not mean anything to the debte.

You know, I watched the Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and Conan O’Brien last night while I was grading papers. McCain, Huckabee, and Clinton made appearances on them in prep for Super Tuesday. Crazy. I think most people know the truth from fiction regarding Obama and his Muslim connections, but maybe not? Hmm. Nice post.
